Let me introduce myself…
My name is Matthew, but I generally go by Matt. I am 35 years old and was born and raised in Michigan. I currently reside in Genesee County. I am the youngest of 9 children. I have lived in Michigan for most of my life aside from 2 years that I spent in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am proficient in Spanish and am currently learning German.
I thoroughly enjoy reading (mostly fantasy/sci-fi). When I am not reading, I like to play video games or tinker with my homelab. My preferred method of exercise is mountain biking, although I have long wanted to get back into skateboarding. Working with my hands brings me a sense of peace not found in these other activities. I therefore enjoy leatherworking and woodworking.
I have an A.A.S. in Cybersecurity and Networking from Delta Community College and am currently looking into going back to school to finish my B.S. in Network Engineering with a Cisco focus.
